Horton Technique

Intro to Jazz class allows adults to learn the isolations, stretches, kicks and footwork necessary to complete combinations in the center and across the floor. Music choices include American pop, musical theater and international rhythms. This is a super fun and upbeat class! This class can also be modified for the more advanced dancer by incorporating more difficult steps and combinations.

Zumba

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements.
Zumba Toning is for the intermediate/advanced student who has mastered the basic footwork. (For more information on Zumba, check out http://www.zumba.com/us/!

LaBlast Ballet

Modern will include basic warm up, across the floor, and center work. The choreography that will be taught will fuse new and classic techniques of modern dance. This class will explore the body’s complete movement potential. Contrary to ballet and jazz, we will not move with restrictions or boundaries, but will use a free range of movement motifs. This will allow for total release and self expression.

Fly Girl Fit

Fit to Move classes are part yoga, part Pilates, part dance. Participants are not training for marathons. They are people who like to move and know they need to move for wellness. They may or may not be involved in sports or dance. They are interested in maintaining good health in order to function: to garden, to play with grandchildren, walk the great Wall of China, maintain strength and agility, prevent disease and keep the brain active. Something must be working because many of Luff’s adult clients have taken class with her for over 20 years!

Hip Hop/House Fusion

Hip Hop/House Fusion will focus mainly on increasing the students ability to learn and maintain choreography. Students will also learn to acquire the skill of musicality and choreographing movement to music other than the basic beat of a song. Students will work on their performance techniques and how to engage the audience. All styles of hip hop will be taught.

Rhythm Tap

Rhythm Tap class focuses on the basic tap technique; the class explores different rhythms and combinations. Rhythm Tap also strengthens the key muscles in the lower body.
